The core of my local challenge effects a major rural area in the Netherlands; the Veenkoloniën.
The challenge is:
First of all how to prevent (public) facilities being closed. 
Second of all how to efficiently fill in the available space that has been left behind due to closed and/ or demolished public facilities, considering the needs of the local population and the energy transition.
